Fun Questions!

If you could only eat savory or sweet things for the rest of your life, which would you choose- and why?

I would eat savory things! I am obsessed with salty foods! If I have something sweet, I have to have something salty afterwards before I'm content. :) 

Would you rather live in the sea (under the water), the sky (on a cloud), or in space?

I would rather live in the sea. When I was little my grandpa used to call me a little mermaid because I LOVED coming over to gma & gpa's house to swim, and I was ALWAYS over there. I am fascinated by how light reflects in the water and I read every ocean book in my middle school when I was younger. Betcha didn't know you were getting THAT in depth of an answer eh? ;)

Mountains, Desert, Plains, or Tropics?

Tropics all the way. In Las Vegas (and in Rexburg) I always have to put on lotion and I love going to Hawaii and feeling how soft my skin and lips are! No lotion needed! Also I am not a fan of driving in the snow, and as you know from my previous question I am obsessed with the ocean! :) 

Would you rather live with chronic pain or the worst pain you can imagine for 24 hours?

I'm one of those people who would rather just have a worse experience now than draw it out over time. 

If you had to do one of these over again, which would it be: Pre School, Elementary, Jr High/ Middle School, High School, or College?

High School for sure! I had some great times with some great friends! College is just a bunch of work! ;)

Floral or Tribal. I'm big on nature stuff.

The Wonderful Sock Bun!

I have been pinteresting and I found a tutorial for making a sock bun! 

Here's what it looks like:

Chocolate Chip Muffins! YUM!

My friend Kimberly gave me an amazing muffin recipe! Here it is!

Chocolate Chip Muffins

1/2 cup applesauce 

1/3 cup shortening or butter

2 eggs 

1/3 cup water 

1 1/4 cups sugar 

1 1/2 cups flour

1/3 cup baking cocoa

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp baking powder

3/4 tsp salt

1 cup chocolate chips

In a mixing bowl, combine applesauce, shortening (butter), eggs, water and sugar; beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Combine dry ingredients; add to 

applesauce mixture. Beat on low for 30 seconds. Beat on high for 2 1/2 

minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. . Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 

Make sure you don't fill the muffin cups too high, or you will get saucer tops on your muffins! These are really great. Instead of using chocolate chips I cut up chocolate bars and put them into the batter. I wanted bigger chocolate chunks than mere chips would provide! :)

Just Another Manic Friday...

Tomorrow I am doing a service internship for a choir festival held at BYU-Idaho. I will be escorting choirs around campus and teaching them stuff! Don't know what yet, so tomorrow could be interesting! 

My teachers sent me home early today from class because I have the flu. I got it from my hubby, so we've both been bumming around all night watching movies in our PJ's and eating KFC. I was once told by a nutrition teacher in a college class that when you are sick is the best time to eat fatty foods because your body needs more calories to fight off the sickness, so my husband and I have skipped the healthy dinner in favor or vitamin c tablets, greasy yummy food and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies! Yum!
